This is probably one of the most "real" western films ever made.  It takes away the Hollywood action cowboy and also buries the Roy Rogers cowboy and takes that cowboy and turns him into an aging, pissed off killer, who you shouldn't mess with.  This happens in an era during Clint Eastwood's career when he just finished all the Dirty Harry movies and moved on to the types of films that an older star should take on.  This is pure, gritty, old west style, not seen in a long time.  Enjoy! - Phil
