Trailer for the Film on YouTube:
This is a pretty impressive film about some pretty impressive people. This is the story about Michael. Big Mike is played very well by new-talent Quinton Aaron. A young man with a lot a bad luck, but through the love of friendship is adopted by a family that helps him reach the stars. He is a big man, with a lot of athletic ability, who eventually reaches the NFL. Sandra Bullock plays Leigh Anne, who befriends Michael and takes him in for a night to shelter him from the cold and rain. He meets her husband and her kids and immediately it is evident that everyone likes each other. Leigh Anne's husband is played by Tim McGraw. I had no idea Tim McGraw was an actor, but I was impressed. He's good and he is excellent matched up with Bullock.
The film starts out giving us a look at the famous Joe Theismann injury, which I thought was very interesting and risky. That "accident" rarely is shown on TV or other venues, but for the importance of this film it is a launching pad for things to come. Wow, actual footage of Joe Theismann's injury. Crazy.
The Blind Side - The Real Story on YouTube:
All of this culminates into a young man, down on his luck, with the potential to be great and that greatness happens. It is a feel good movie that helps the viewer see hope in people and it also shows to the world what life is like trying to become a man in a world of professionals. See it. - Phil
