Trailer for the film on YouTube:
This is a beautiful movie. John Ford out-did himself in this one. It is full of great scenic shots, amazing colors and exciting scenes, even for a Romantic Drama. You feel the energy coming off of John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara, who is a genuine Irish lady, so she was perfect for this part. John Wayne is cool in this film and O'Hara is a knock-out. This is a typical story about an American who arrives in Ireland to claim his inheritance and the man who runs into the hottest chick in all of Ireland. I use the term typical loosely, because the legendary John Ford, with a typical story, creates a world that is not typical and gives us a great look into a 1950s Hollywood drama from Ireland. It is the stuff of legends. A must see film and perfect for St. Patrick's Day. - Phil
