Allures (1961)

Worldwide Art Day was just a few days ago, so we figured we'd offer some free art here with Film366.com's original (and probably the first ever) video recommendation for an experimental film...

Interested in seeing more free art? On some Sundays you can visit various art museums around the country for free! Phoenix, New York and Chicago have art museums that offer FREE SUNDAYS (or "Pay As You Wish" for those feeling guilty about soaking up culture without paying for it). Here's a few links about art museums you can attend today for nil:

NEW YORK (HARLEM): http://www.studiomuseum.org/visit

CHICAGO: https://www.timeout.com/chicago/museums/depaul-art-museum

Original art work by Clare Mich, Age 6.

Philly Art Lovers, be sure to visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art or The Barnes Foundation the first Sunday of the month for a FREE/Pay As You Wish visit.

But before you head off to the museums...watch the whole film of Allures right here!

Jordan Belson's Allures is hard to catch online. One day it's on Vimeo, next day it's not. One day it's on a Russian website, the next...not. One day on YouTube... you get the idea. Here's an embedded video of Allures that's good today, and hopefully still playable by the time you read this...

Purchase DVD of Jordan Belson's work...including Allures...at this link: http://www.centerforvisualmusic.org/JBDVD.htm
