The Blues Brothers (1980)

John Belushi and Dan Akroyd bring their zany SNL characters to the big screen in an amazing adventure involving great blues music and car crashes.  The beginning of the film is a little awkward, because in an attempt to surprise the audience with an interesting character introduction, you unfortunately can see how John Belushi is trying to hide his face. Director, John Landis has a lot of nice shots and the building exploding was fantastic. There also was a young Paul Rubens sighting. This film was a great role for Carrie Fisher, who shows up throughout the movie trying to kill the Blues Brothers.  There also is a Steven Spielberg cameo.
