Plane Crazy (1928)

Today marks the first appearances of Mickey and Minnie Mouse in an originally ill-received short called "Plane Crazy" - back in ol' 1928. This short was originally shown in a test screening on this day, did not impress the audience and failed to pick up a distributor. Later that year, Disney released "Steamboat Willie." It was a success and the rest, as they say, is history. Oh, and after Steamboat Willie succeeded, Disney went ahead and released Plane Crazy. Here it is:
