Imagine the situation if you could repeat the events of the day so you could correct the mistakes you made along the way, plus a couple of other gifts that Franka Potente's character Lola has to get through a series of events that shows us how important something as simple as the butterfly effect is in life. Lola is just a normal person, but through the magic of Tom Tykwer's storytelling she finds the strength to get through this Groundhog Day-esque day and the device used is the ever-present spattering of the color RED. - Phil
